Epoch Gastropub has teamed up with the Exeter Rotary Club to create a fundraiser that will support the Club’s work in the community.

“When you think of Exeter, everyone has a list of important institutions that define the town for them. At the top of my list are The Exeter Rotary Club and Epoch Gastropub at The Exeter Inn. Our continued partnership seems only natural,” said 2021-2022 Club President Dr. Burt Dibble. “The current climate will keep us from holding our largest fundraiser, our annual holiday auction for a second year in a row but the need we fill in the community is present now more than ever. Epoch is helping us get creative without a major event.”

Over the next month Epoch will donate 50% of the proceeds from the sale of the special “Catcher in the…” cocktail, a Rye based drink featuring the tastes of autumn, to the Exeter Rotary Club. The funds will go to support the Club’s work in combatting food insecurity, maintaining the grounds of The Powderhouse and towards scholarships presented to graduating students of Exeter High School, Seacoast School of Technology and to students of Exeter Adult Education.

“While it’s disappointing we can’t fill the ballroom at the Inn with a fun and charitable crowd to kick off the holiday season, we Rotarians hope people will invite a few friends to Epoch, grab some food, order a “Catcher in the..” and feel a touch of that same spirit of giving, knowing funds are going to a good cause,” said club member Rachael Ela.

Exeter Inn General Manager, Derek Hunt said, “The Exeter Inn and Rotary have developed an important relationship built on supporting and growing the local community. All of us here at The Exeter Inn and Epoch Gastropub are thrilled to once again partner with our local Rotarians in support of a great cause. We sincerely hope to see as many of you as possible over the coming weeks and months and I promise you will enjoy the drink!”
