2014 Changeover Dinner

President Burt passed the torch/gavel to the now President Leigh during a pleasant evening enjoyed by all. President Burt recognized his board for the contributions they made to the Club over the past year. Jim McAllister and Dick Parker were recognized with Presidential citations for the initiative they took to ensure the scholarships presented to students in the community were handed out as they always have been, even without a Vocational Service Chair. The Club thanked Vinny, of the Exeter Country Club for all of the wonderful food we've enjoyed during our time meeting at the  Country Club. Frankie presented the awards associated with the Burt Dibble Memorial Golf Outing, with the winning title going to Team Don Marshall. President Burt presented Phil Chura with his second Paul Harris award. The Club was saddened by Allison Field's announcement that because of a job opportunity in Massachusetts, she would be leaving the Club. We wish her well and remind her that she is always welcome. Lastly, the Club witnessed the pinning of this year's president, Leigh Willett. After presenting Burt with his Past President pin she thanked him for his dedication to the Club over the past year and presented him with a lovely box with the Rotary emblem on it. President Leigh introduced her board for the coming year and closed the meeting with an invitation to our new venue, The Exeter Inn. We'll hear all about the theme for the coming year and President Leigh's vision and goals on Monday 7/7!
